About Chad Milford

Chad K. Milford, BMLSc, RT (CSMLS)

Chad earned an MLT diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1994 and in 1997 earned a Bachelor of Medical Lab Science from UBC.

He has worked as a General Technologist in a small hospital and as a blood bank technologist at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. He taught transfusion medicine at SAIT when the MLT program was re-introduced and worked at Canadian Blood Services, Calgary.

Currently, Chad is the Lab Tech II at Whitehorse General Hospital, a 49-bed acute care facility serving all of Yukon and nearby communities in northern BC and eastern Alaska. His primary focus has been the Transfusion Service and he is working to maintain the manuals and programs.
